With its picture-postcard landscapes and one of the most famous views in the world from the Tarrezza dell'Infinito, Ravello, praised even by Boccaccio in the Decameron, has been a source of inspiration for intellectuals and artists of all times. Today it is home to one of Italy's oldest music festivals, the Ravello Festival, which takes place every year on the splendid stage of the Belvedere of Villa Rufolo. Perched on a hill overlooking the sea, Sorrento is the gateway to the picturesque and famous Sorrento Coast. A historical city of Roman origin and the scene of one of the most famous eruptions of Vesuvius in ancient times, traces of which are preserved in the archaeological park which inowdays is undoubtedly  the most interesting historical site to visit.
